Westcom Bio-Tech Pte Ltd generates Circular Economy through the technology development of food waste-to-compost treatment with on-site bio-digestion, avoiding carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases emission.
The company’s technology development are in two interlinked platforms:
- Biotechnology to develop microbial consortium for food waste treatment
- Smart technology incorporated into its aerobic biodigesters to optimise food waste degradation performance
Westcom internalised R&D Laboratory and Equipment engineering team partners with A*STAR and various Research Institutes in their development pursuits.
Westcom has deployed its on-site aerobic biodigesters in various sites in China and Singapore. To date, Westcom has installed more than 9,000 tons annual capacity to help divert food waste from incinerators and landfills.
